Early one morning we set out across the Sahara, our group led by a small boy who had told us he knew the way to a place where there was ice water. The sun was hot and we were tired, but we kept going, driven by the promise of relief from thirst. We had been walking for hours when we finally came to a stop in front of a set of large stone walls. Etched into the walls were images of people and creatures that seemed oddly familiar.

We realized that we were not alone in this desert. And finally, after days of walking, we reached our destination: a secret place that was full of wonder and mystery. The ancient people who had once inhabited this place had left behind a legacy that was both strange and familiar to us. We will never forget our journey through the sands.
