Free Art Class / Fall Sessions 2024

Come and paint with us at Cleta's for the Stay & Paint Art Class! Join artist Nathan Taylor for acrylic painting sessions suitable for children aged 10 and up. Feel free to reserve multiple classes.

"Stay and Paint at Cleta's" is an innovative initiative providing complimentary fine art painting classes for children, accompanied by adults. Held within the welcoming space of Cleta's Stay and Sew, these classes are led by Nathan J Taylor, an accomplished local artist. Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Iowa State University and is a graduate of the CAPA program at Auburn High School. Our class aims to introduce children to the fundamental principles and techniques of acrylic painting, while also fostering an appreciation for the contributions of artists of color throughout history. This unique opportunity gives community members access to lessons from a practicing artist, offering valuable insights into the realm of fine art.
